What is Milky Almonds all about?
We are passionate about providing you with an alternative to dairy milk that is highly nutritious and free from anything artificial or nasty. We understand that by consuming dairy milk, many of us suffer from gastrointestinal upset, including - bloating, pain, flatulence, loose bowels or constipation. We also understand that allergies/eczema and acne/skin problems are closely related to dairy consumption. Milky Almonds is a low reactive, gut friendly alternative.

How can I use the made milk?
Milky Almonds is your dairy milk substitute. You can use the made milk in any way you would use dairy milk. This includes adding to cereals, smoothies, tea, coffee, baking (cakes, pancakes etc). Milky Almonds goes great in savoury cooking too! Béchamel sauce, curries/laksa. The options are endless!
How should I store this product?
Milky Almonds can live in your pantry. Each serve is individually wrapped giving you optimum freshness and the best possible shelf life. Once made it is to be kept refrigerated for up to 4 days. If, however, you live in a tropical climate where you normally store your nuts in the fridge, then please look after Milky Almonds the same way.
Once the milk is made, how long will it last in the fridge?
Your made milk will last up to 4 days in the fridge.
What if I don’t want to make 1 litre?
Our individually wrapped serving size makes 1 litre of milk. If, however, you don’t want to make so much you can simply use half a serve to make 500ml. We recommend wrapping the other half up and refrigerating until you need to make more milk.
Can I heat the milk?
Yes, you can!
Does it split when adding to tea or coffee?
Unfortunately, most plant-based milks will split. This is purely because of the temperature difference between the hot drink and the cold milk. The best way to get around this is to ensure that the milk and water are the same temperature (or close to) when pouring in. If you heat the milk before pouring in, you have less chance of the milk separating.
This tastes a little different to store bought almond milk. Why is that?
If you have a look at the back of a generic almond milk carton you will notice there are a lot of ingredients and in fact not many nuts at all… Often these products are full of emulsifiers and vegetable gums to give you the illusion that the milk is thicker and creamier than what it actually is. Not to mention the possible preservatives and sugars that may be added - this is exactly why we made our product! We are passionate about providing you with a nutritious milk that is free from any of these additives and tastes downright delicious.
Is this product Australian made?
We are proudly Australian made and owned. We only use Australian grown almonds. We've got an amazing country with the best resources and we all the deserve the best.
My milk has separated a little. Is this normal?
If you have a high-powered blender you will find that the chance of this happening is very slim. But if it does happen, this is completely normal and the milk is totally fine to consume. We are proud to not use any emulsifiers which means that whilst it is better for you, your milk may separate a little. We recommend to always give your milk a good shake before use if this happens to be the case.
Does your milk contain sugar?
Absolutely not! Our aim is to provide healthier alternatives to milk and flavoured milk drinks. Our Original, Strawberry and Chocolate milks are free from refined sugar. We sweeten our flavoured milks with Monk Fruit which contains zero calories and is up to 200 times sweeter than sugar so we only use microscopic amounts. It does not raise blood glucose levels so it is a diabetic safe sweetener
Is your milk safe in pregnancy and breast feeding?
Of course! Milky Almonds is absolutely safe to consume during pregnancy and breast feeding, provided there is no allergies to almonds or any of the other ingredients in our product. Always chat to your doctor if you have any concerns.
